Have you heard the predictions of a collision course with our moon? What if we missed XF11 but hit the moon?

Granted it's a higher chance than hitting the lottery Mega, but very unlikely. And we know for sure, after 2013, leaving enough time to take corrective action such as changing its orbit. No one is sweating the possibility of Moon is up against. For one thing, it is smaller and has a lower gravity field, leading to its being a less likely target. On the other hand, for the moment, no lives there, so it is not a problem any More Than people worry when the comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 on Jupiter rammed.
