Washington Cookbook
Can someone help me with my CP?
I want to do my Culminating Project (senior year project for Washington State high schoolers) doing basically the same thing Julie Powell did with Julia Child's cook book (the "Julie & Julia" movie), except with her baking book. Powell created a blog about her experience, which was what I planned to do for my CP's final product.
The problem is that my counselor would like me to personalize it more and really sell the idea to her, because they don't really want students to do cookbooks any more (for whatever reason).
So can someone give me some suggestions on how to personalize this or just a different way to do this basic concept.
Tell stories. I still remember vividly some of my childhood dinners, and what we were eating at certain times in my life. Maybe you can remember a favorite meal, and use that recipe along with the story of a family dinner. A Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner is bound to have some memories. Good luck with your project.
