Two Cookbooks
Is it expensive to cook?
Do you think it is expensive to cook? Did you follow recipies like Rachel Ray, and books etc. cooking - or do you cook things more simple more often? I love to cook two or three times a week - but my fiance thinks that I want to cook too expensive. While the chicken nuggets and noodles Lipton is cheaper than making lasagna .... but I'm bored with the consumption of prepackaged foods frozen all the time (and I think I'm paying for it with my health). What do you think - is it too much to cook?
When you cook meals like Spaghetti and meatballs with salad and garlic bread for dinner, you almost always (with me anyway) have leftovers. This means that you have dinner the night you did, breakfast (if you're like my husband) or lunch the next day if your like me. This means that you have a lot of meals that night one of cooking. You are also eating more healthily, well-balanced meal when you do it at home, knowing what happens in it. I disagree with your boyfriend, you can not live on ramen noodles and chicken nuggets all your life (at least I could not - I'm a big fan and do love Rachael Ray dishes easy) I often save money because I cook rather than eating or eating fast food. You save having more leftovers! And, yes, I think you pay for it with your health, food preservatives, and all sorts of things to your homemade meals will not. Cook more at home, your fiance 'is wrong!
