I have to choose a book for summer reading. I have no clue what any of these books are about. Which one is the best? =]

I HATE horror and action books. I like stories about people's life, tragedies and stuff like that.

I've only read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. If you haven't read it yet, you shouldn't read The Truth Behind the Da Vinci Code: A Challenging Response to the Bestselling Novel by Richard Abanes (D).
It's alot about religion's history. There's action so maybe not the best choice for you, but it's well-written and once you're "into" the book, you can't stop reading.
